HIBORE XL TOUR DRIVER

I agree with Bill — you have to find the right ball placement in your stance and swing plane. No re-shaft needed with this rocket launcher. They told me the same thing after the pro watched me drive both. After the round it just seemed too heavy for me. The headcovers are quite nice and the E-Z Grab feature allows you to pull off the headcovers with ease. I have the Cleveland launcher and need a heck more yards to catch up with these guys. Thanks James for your comments.

Cleveland HiBore XL Tour Driver

I have always been a Titleist man but reluctantly I have to say that this driver puts them to shame. Wanna get rid of this ugly yellow box?

I had tried some TP version Taylor Mades, but when I had the tech at Golf Smith check the loft and face angles on their equipment it became evident that TM has no quality control whatsover. My clubhead speed is with the driver but the trajectory is usually the problem. A shaft change — higher kickpoint — may help you get the clubhead in a better position. When I did slice the ball, it still stayed in the fairway, and really seemed more like a push than a slice. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Bottom line is hiobre I love my new Hibore XL. GolfWRX - the world's largest and best online golf community.

I am lucky to get to with my cheapy RAM. He hits his drive Could not hit it to save my life. I've hit both but never on a monitor.

Is HiBore XL Tour Still the King of Low Spin?

Before I got my Hibore XL, I was using an old, small headed Cleveland metal driver, and before that, I always used a small headed graphite 3 wood, so teeing it up high was never really an issue before. Mine is actually 2.

The "off" amount and percentage simply signifies the calculated difference between the seller-provided price for the item elsewhere and the seller's price on eBay. Remember me This is not recommended for shared computers. This HiBore is deadly, I missed only one fairway and still managed to parr the hole. Thanks James for your comments. The regular XL is great, and in fact it has a bit bigger face to hit with. These hybores are made to send the ball high. The gold shaft has an active tip and I swing the driver averaging mph and I just launched the ball too high for my liking.

The Cleveland Hibore XL is an awsome club. Having a slightly less closed face would certainly be a nice thing…. I find myself teeing the ball up much higher than I ever have before, and it seems to be working for bibore. The club was hotter than the USGA limit of.

The open face on the Tour version combined with the shallower profile allowed me to work the ball, while the elongated non-Tour version did quite well at keeping my drives straight. The sound is very loud in a driving hiore when you catch it sweet but a better noise than the Callaway ft-i and Nike sumo 2.

Straightest and longest I have ever driven. The Hi-Bore tends to live up to its name and go high. I play with some guys who sky the ball and they were always able to get over trees on the egde of some dog legs which puts them in superb position for their second shot. I have noticed a lot more consistency in shot type.

Like some reviewers and posters say, you must get this club fitted to your swing speed and launch angles to get the best of it all. Was playing a Launcher Comp and went to a 8. To be honest I think, in an apples to apples comparison, that the spin of the drivers is about the same.
